What BeeWise Gardener is
BeeWise Gardener is a UK gardening companion that learns your garden. It identifies your plants, says what's worth doing this week and helps you plan, starting from your own beds, plants and local conditions.
It's for curious gardeners who want to look after and improve their outdoor space, and build confidence as the garden grows: newer gardeners, people getting to know an inherited garden, and experienced enthusiasts, with anything from patio pots to beds, borders, veg plots and allotments.
Why we built it
Most gardening help starts from scratch every time. A monthly jobs list is the same for everyone, a forum needs your garden explained again, and a general AI chat doesn't know what you planted last spring or how it did.
BeeWise keeps a record of your garden as you use it: the plants in each bed, their light and soil, your photos and the jobs you've done. Every answer starts from that record, so over the seasons you learn what works in your own garden.
How the advice works
Identifications, answers to your questions, weekly jobs and designs are generated by AI models, mainly Google's Gemini, using the relevant parts of your garden record. They use UK seasons, your local weather and frost dates, and British gardening terms.
AI can be wrong. BeeWise says when a question can't be settled from a photo, and you can correct an identification or any detail it has about your garden. Our monthly guides are checked against UK sources and reviewed by a person before they're published. Read how we use AI and your data.
What it isn't
BeeWise isn't a streak game or a stream of reminders. It aims for a few useful jobs at the right time, including telling you what can safely wait.
